Italian filmmaker and actor Daniele luchetti was confirmed as one of the guests of the 2024 edition of 8½ Italian Film Festival, one of the main events dedicated to Italian culture in Brazil, which will take place between June 27th and July 3rd.
The director will represent his most recent success, the feature film “Segredos”, considered one of the highlights of the festival's program, and will participate in a series of meetings with the public.
In his new film, Luchetti adapts the novel by Italian author Domenico Starnone and, with a plot full of layers, launches a more complex and mature production.
Starring actor Elio Germano, the film tells the story of two lovers who decide to confess secrets, in many cases dark, and what was a joke makes the audience question deeply about human nature.
The Supreme Court reaffirmed: citizenship is born with the person.
- New legal front opened
- Processes can still be filed.
- Individual assessment before any decision.
The 8 ½ Italian Film Festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Il Sorpasso Association and Risi Film Brasil, with the support of the Italian Embassy and the Italian diplomatic-consular network in Brazil, the Italian Institutes of Culture of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo and Cinecittà.
