Just over a year after the singer's death Rita lee, the artist's widower, Roberto de Carvalho, released an unreleased version of the song "Nel blu dipinto di blu” (Volare), composed by the Italian Domenico Modugno, starring the Brazilian.
The song, which has already been recorded by numerous prestigious names in music worldwide, gained a bossa nova rhythm in Rita Lee's version.
The music video also features previously unseen footage from various moments in the composer's life.
“It’s a way of missing her, paying homage to her and ensuring that the work remains organically alive. The idea of the clip is as if Rita were flying around here”, declared Roberto in an interview with “Fantástico”.
The song's video also shows the public several places much appreciated by the artist in life, such as the lake energized by crystals and even the “Luísa” tree.
The unreleased version recorded and adapted by Rita and Roberto arrived on digital platforms this Monday (10). The song was titled “Voando”. (HANDLE)
