Covid – Italy fears contagion imported from neighboring countries; cases have skyrocketed

Infections in the last 2 weeks in Europe (and surrounding areas) worry authorities

An infographic produced and published by the newspaper Corriere della Sera shows that Covid-19 cases registered in the European Union are increasing in a worrying manner.

There is still no second wave of Covid-19 in Europe, but the Italian government fears that the return to school – scheduled for the second week of September – could cause an increase of 0,4 in the contagion rate.
