Vatican investigates likes. “At least I’m going to heaven” says the Brazilian model
The Vatican has launched an investigation into Pope Francis' Instagram use after the the pontiff's official page liked a sensual photo of a Brazilian model.
In the image, liked by the papal account on Friday (13), Natalia Garibotto is wearing a school uniform lingerie.
Sources linked to the press office of the Vatican confirmed to the CNA agency that the pope's various social media accounts are managed by third parties.
Because of this, Catholic authorities are in the midst of an internal investigation to determine the origin of the like which, after the repercussions, was undone the following day.
COY Co., the company responsible for Natalia's communications, used the likes of the papal account for advertising purposes, posting on its account on Friday that the company had “received the official blessing of the Pope.”
A Brazilian woman commented on the unexpected like on Twitter: “At least I’m going to heaven”, he joked with his followers.

In an interview with the American blog Barstool Sports, Natalia was even more emphatic and mentioned the movement to like photos on Instagram: “My mother may not like photos of my butt, but the Pope gives a double slap”.
In addition to Instagram, where she has almost 130 thousand followers, Natalia also lives on Twitch and sells exclusive sensual content to subscribers of her website.
The photo liked by the Pope's account was published by the model on October 5th on Instagram, and has gained more than 148 thousand likes since the repercussions of the case.
