Know the lyrics:
Thank you immigrant
Thank you to our immigrant
For the land, the wine and the bread
God bless your courage,
and the sacred cultivation of the ground
The confident seed planted
Your honor supports the banner
of the customs they never forgot
and strengthened our tradition.
Thank you to our immigrant
that planted in the summer sun
with the plough, the hoe and the sickle
germinated our nation
I thank you every moment
For having taught the value
From the rosary to family night
Preaching the sharing of faith and love
Thank you to our immigrant
Who left his sweat on earth
With hope they left for Brazil
Great value Italians.
Your courage was very important
Deserving the most beautiful medal
soldier of plains and mountains
in times of war you fought in Italy.
Thank you to our immigrant
who today lives in the kingdom of GOD
but your teaching remained
that has never been lost in time.
With love, joy and respect
To the world I want to show
A treasure of the most beautiful shine
I want to teach your language to my children.
