Citadel: Diana – The new Italian espionage plot on Prime Video

Spin-off of the Citadel series arrives on Prime, starring Matilda De Angelis as the protagonist and promising action, suspense and exciting twists.

The expanded universe of Citadel gets a new addition with the long-awaited series Citadel: Diana, which premiered on Prime Video.

Directed by Arnaldo Catinari and written by Alessandro Fabbri, the Italian production immerses the audience in a new international espionage adventure, led by the talented Matilda Angelis, known for its role in The Undoing.

Set in Milan in the year 2030, Citadel: Diana explores the chaotic landscape left by the destruction of the Citadel spy agency eight years earlier at the hands of the enemy syndicate Manticore.

Diana Cavalieri, played by De Angelis, is an undercover agent trapped behind enemy lines and must find ways to survive in an environment full of betrayal and danger. Isolated and acting as a spy for Manticore, Diana will have to forge unexpected alliances to escape.

His greatest ally ends up being Edo Zani (Lorenzo Cervasio), son of Ettore Zani (Maurizio Lombardi), leader of Manticore in Italy.

With a tense and unpredictable plot, the series explores the growing struggle for power within the criminal organization and Diana's search for justice in a world where the wrong choices can be fatal.
