The city of Bento Gonçalves, considered the Brazilian capital of wine, in Rio Grande do Sul, will be part of the program organized by the Italian events group Veronafiere to promote Italian wines around the world.
Between the 12th and 14th of September, the city will host the fourth edition of the “Wine South America” event, considered a reference in the sector on the continent.
The promotional tour Vinitaly – the seal that represents Italian wines around the world – will also visit 14 other key countries.
The trips and events, held between September 2023 and March 2024, will focus on building loyalty with key buyers and winning over new operators.
The “roadshow” will pass through historic markets such as the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, which together represent more than half of Italian wine exports.
Countries that are increasing their purchases are also part of the itinerary, such as Canada, France, Belgium, Japan, Sweden and Austria.
Emerging markets were also taken into consideration – in addition to Brazil, Vinitaly will visit countries such as China, Serbia, South Korea and Denmark. (Ansa Brasil)
