Italian Wine will have a new representative in 2021
Italian wine will have a new home in 2021. The city of Barolo, in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont, was chosen as the “Città del Vino from 2021".
Promoted by Ministry of Agricultural Policies, from the Italian government, the award aims to enhance Italian cities with vineyards.
Barolo received the coveted title of “Wine City of 2021” by beating six other cities: Bianco (Reggio Calabria), Duino Aurisina (Trieste), Montepulciano (Siena), Montespertoli (Florence), Taurasi (Avellino) and Tollo (Chieti) .
After all, in Italy, wine is a very serious matter and there are many companies and lands dedicated to the production of extraordinary, high-quality products. And the city of Barolo fits very well into this scenario.

Tradition in good Italian wine
The city in the province of Cuneo, in fact, although it does not have 700 residents, is an example of great attachment to the land and traditions.
It is there, in the middle of the Langhe mountain range (declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 2014), the namesake and precious red wine was born, which over time was also recognized as a Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin (DOCG)
