One of the nonna Italian company 107 years old set an example that there is no age to celebrate life.
Pierina, who lives in a home for the elderly, in the city of Alta Valle Intelvi, in the province of Como, in northern Italy, joined her best friend, Vittoria, and celebrated her birthday with her.
The party brought smiles to everyone who attended the celebration.
Pierina was a little sad because she couldn't celebrate such a special date with her family, due to the social isolation imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
A nonna Italian then got a birthday party for her best friend. The nursing home staff helped organize the party as Vittoria requested and the two spent an entire afternoon together, chatting and laughing.
The images ended up on social media and soon went viral.
It's impossible not to smile seeing the two friends together, right?
