Italian company hopes to resume flights to SP on December 15

Alitalia will resume its flights between Rome and São Paulo Starting December 15th of this year, there will be two weekly flights between the cities of Rome and São Paulo – Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Before the pandemic, the company operated two daily and direct flights leaving the Guarulhos' airport and a daily and direct flight leaving the Galeão airport, both for Roma Fiumicino.

Alitalia's long-term goal is to return to operating three daily flights to Brazil. However, initially Alitalia must maintain its focus on Guarulhos, and connect customers through partners such as GOL.
