Court of Rome is on alert after the increase in cases of Covid-19 among employees. Suspicion falls on two lawyers, who “despite being infected, they had access to criminal court facilities".

In an internal statement, addressed to magistrates and administrative employees, the court points out lawyers “for inadequate responsibility”, and says that the situation was reported to the Rome prosecutor for the necessary investigations..

According to the document, the AGI, the court's management said that all actions were taken to “reconstruct the relative circumstances, identify the people involved and adopt appropriate conduct, with maximum attention to the priority protection of health”.

In Italy, anyone who violates the quarantine risks being punished with a prison sentence of 3 to 18 months and can be fined up to 5 euros.
