Travel+Leisure Magazine discloses its readers' preferences
The magazine specializing in tourism Travel + Leisure published the traditional annual lists of readers' preferences: among selections of hotels, resorts, safaris and cruises highly praised by consumers, the publication also lists the best cities to visit on each continent. Three Italian cities are among the 10 best in Europe.
The European list includes very diverse destinations: on the one hand, it is worth visiting romantic cities such as Florença e Siena, the publication features destinations in immense metropolises such as Madrid and Lisbon, as well as the unusual Istanbul, the meeting point between Europe and Asia on the continent.
Rome Italy
One of the most cinematic cities in Europe, the capital of Italy has attracted religious people and tourists since its founding. In addition to historical attractions such as the Coliseum and Trevi Fountain, visitors looking for more modern activities find what they want in neighborhoods like Pigneto e Garbatella, where they are located wine bars, galleries and excellent restaurants.
Florence, Italy
